Pekanbaru

Pekanbaru is the center of Malay arts and cultural studies. A magnificent Malay mosque, a cultural park that showcases a range of dances and music performances, and a provincial museum are all located in the center of the city. Pekanbaru has a literary feel, with its Provincial Library, a newly built public library with extensive collection, adequate facilities, and convenient location. Also available in Pekanbaru is a zoo, family picnic garden and a theme park, as well as some great restaurants and souvenir shopping venues.
