Maluku

Maluku or Moluccas is the rugged treasure of Eastern Indonesia, with history of significance that goes back a long way. The subject of attention of European colonies few centuries ago, Moluccas were known as primary producers of valued spices. Even after it went through a war-ravaged period from 1999 - 2005, most of the things that add to Maluku’s overall beauty were still largely preserved. Pristine beaches, incredible diving in Seram Island, and irresistible marine tourism available in Banda Sea, are accompanied with historical remains such as European forts as well as old mosques and churches.
